When should I use a query?
Query will enable you to obtain a list of constituents who meet specific criteria. You can use the results of a Query to print a list, send an email, to give a group an attribute, to create a report, or for a mailing.
When I do a mailing, why is the constituent showing up multiple times?
If you need a mailing list of just names and addresses, do not use a field group. A field group will pull all transactions for all constituents or the constituents in a query. If you have already selected a field group, select the field group value and hit Control/Delete on your keyboard to remove the value.
How do I enter a 10-digit phone number?
To enter a 10-digit phone number, enter the first ( parenthesis. If you need to add an extension to the phone number hit the spacebar after the last digit of the phone number.

How do I change a MatchMaker FRS user's security access?
To change a user’s security access, go into Administration then click the security tab, and locate the user. Click on the drop down for Security and select the new security level.
How do I make a MatchMaker FRS user inactive?
Making a User Inactive, go into Administration, click the Security tab and scroll through the users or select from the list locating the one you want to make inactive. Click on the inactive button then click Save Data. Once someone is marked inactive they will no longer be able to log on to MatchMaker FundRaising Software.

When you have located the user, click “Clear Password.” Exit to the Main Menu and click log off. The password will be set by the user the first time they login to MatchMaker FundRaising Software.
How do a setup a new user in MatchMaker FundRaising Software?
To set up a new user in MatchMaker FundRaising Software, go into Administration then click the security tab. Click on the plus button “+,” type in the users name. Then set the security level for that user selecting Administrator, Full Access, Moderate Access or Minimum Access. Then set the Email Display Name (that is the user’s name) and the Email address for that user. Email Login and Email Password are used if Email Requires Authentication is checked. Exit to the Main Menu and click log off. The new user will login with their new User ID. The password will be set by the user the first time they login to MatchMaker FundRaising Software.

The two day training on MatchMaker FundRaising Software is available online or on-site at your office. Training greatly improves the user’s understanding of MatchMaker FundRaising Software’s features and how those features can best be used to enhance and strengthen the nonprofit’s fundraising program. Available monthly, online training allows new hires to be easily brought up to speed on the software application.
